3 Strange Planes You Can Fly In MSFS (Part 1)

Below are three, more posts like this coming in the future.

The Mitsubishi MU-2 (1963–1986) is a Japanese twin-engined turboprop. While it looks like a transport airplane, it’s quite small (even though it takes up a lot of runway to take off). Interestingly, there is no room for ailerons due to full-space flaps, so it uses over-wing spoilers for roll control:

The Saab B-17 (1940s) was a Swedish dive bomber used during WW2. The first all-metal stressed skin aircraft developed in Sweden, the first flight was in the May of 1940. Interestingly, the blocky landing gear gives the appearance of knee pads hockey goalkeepers wear:

The Dornier Do 31 (1960s) was a transport plane developed by West Germany with VTOL capabilities. It actually did fly, and by doing so, it was the world’s first and only VTOL jet transport plane to take to the skies. In the sim, it’s surprisingly big:
